Activities, Demonstrations & Displays

              Saturday Events:
                                    9:30 am - Anvil Shooting by Kansas Anvil Shooters
                                    Medallion Hunt            - $400 prize - A clue will be posted after each Anvil Shoot
Blacksmithing Demonstration following each Anvil Shoot
9:30 am – Parade of Antique Tractors and Automobiles leaves from Trail Center
                                    9:45 am – Parade leaves Morrill Hay Co. parking lot (13th & Morris) * entries welcome to join there
                                                - Parade traveling to Larned Nursing & Assisted Living Homes
                                    10:30 am - Kids Corn Coin Hunt  
                                    11 am  – Class in One Room Schoolhouse – Pat Springer, Teacher
                                    11 am to 2 pm - The Wind Chimes will perform Gospel, Country & Patriotic music                                   
                                    12 noon  – Old-fashioned Wheat Threshing and Corn Shelling
                                    12 noon - Pumpkin Chunkin’-1st pumpkin free, additional pumpkins $1 each
12:30 pm - Kids Corn Coin Hunt  
1 pm – Pedal Pull Competition
1 pm - Anvil Shooting by Kansas Anvil Shooters
Blacksmithing Demonstration following each Anvil Shoot
                                    1:30 pm – Farrier Demonstration & Horseshoeing
                                    1:30 pm – Parade of Power on Museum Grounds
                                    2 pm - Class in One Room Schoolhouse – Pat Springer, Teacher
                                    2 pm – Sawmilling
                                    3 pm - Farrier Demonstration & Horseshoeing
                                    3 pm - Old-fashioned Wheat Threshing and Corn Shelling
                                    3:30 pm - Pumpkin Chunkin’-1st pumpkin free, additional pumpkins $1 each

                                    9 am – Worship Service in Historic Escue Chapel, Rev. Paul Runnels
                                    10 am – Anvil Shooting by Kansas Anvil Shooters

                                    Museum Open – Special Exhibits
                                    Sod House, Dugout, Cooling House, Depot, Chapel & One Room Schoolhouse Open
                                    Dale & Melba Woods Automobile Museum & Farm Museum Open
